Us

Our bodies flowed together so precisely that
Our lines of separation were obscure.
The poetry from your fingertips touched me, and
in it’s graceful tongue went t h r o u g h me
I smiled in the rain as we held each other tightly.
The tears
Of joy coming
From G-d
Herself
When the sun came back out, we went inside and
Held each other
Until
It
Rained
Again

Our physical
touch wasn’t merely
your eyes saw into
my heart and
captivated
it.

So there I stood, breathless, heart stopped, waiting until
The next time I could feel it.
Beat Beat Beat Beat Beat Beat Beat Beat
Beat Beat Beat Beat Beat Beat Beat

Our fingers laced together
and protected each other from the pain
until we were able to escape into the rain again.

Senior Quotes!!!

It's that time! I get to choose what I want people to remember me by.

So far, I've come up with these:

"To be free is to hvae achieved your life" (T.Will)

"When so many are lonely as seem to be lonely, it would be inexcusably selfish to be lonely alone" (T.Will)

"Live in the moment, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment" (H.D.T.)

"I am just beginning to be more comfortable with my identity." (Lauryn Hill)

"Life is an unanswered question, but let's still believe in the dignity and importance of the question” (T.Will)

"The violets in the mountains have broken the rocks"

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. " OW
A man isn't poor if he can still laugh. Author: Raymond Hitchcock

"The First Blog"

So it is I, Ira. I really like blogging, either just to write things out that I need to say or to get feedback from others. I'm not a crazy blogger or someone who will be writing excellently intriguing things, so if that's what you expect from this, please go elsewhere :)

Last week was the first week of my senior year. It was hella long and stressful, and I'm not sure how i will like certain classes (ap lit, to be specific). I am trying to get a job, hopefully at P.J.'s coffee shop, but I also want to be pretty active in tech, seeing as how I am taking 3&4 together.

Some things to know about me:

-I'm a pretty private person. I guess writing this blog isn't so that everyone knows everything abut me, I just want to write out loud and have people respond.

-I'm pretty funny, or at least I think I am, and I really don't care what you think about it at all.

-I don't strive for anything more than what I want and need.

-I'm very self-conscious about everything, but I would never admit that to someone's face.

-I'm obsessed with music, and art, and reading/writing.

-I like to break the rules/think outside the box.

-I cuss. A lot. If you don't like it, don't read any farther.

I'll write more of that kinda shit later. This weekend has been severely uneventful. I have been trying to clean my room, because I can't even think in this clutter. But at the same time, I've been geting terribly sidetracked. Like now...my uncle has been coming over daily and I'm so sick of his dumb ass. I can't wait for him to realize I'm not working for him anymore...

Anyway..I just got my IPod hooked up, so I'm going to go listen to that and do this stupid ap lit assignment...ugh.
